Safaricom is a converged communication solutions provider committed to the highest level of ethical conduct. The Ethics and Compliance Department wish to engage a firm that specializes in Ethics management with relevant experience in the Telecommunications Industry to conduct an ethics assessment and survey. The Ethics survey/ ethics assessment is the starting point of an ethics management review. Its main objective is to obtain an accurate picture of Safaricom’s ethical position. It assists in identifying ethical challenges and developing ways to handle these challenges. It also aids in evaluating the effectiveness of the ethics program. The assessment is a follow up to the ethics questions in the survey conducted previously and most recently from the staff survey questions of FY 2019/2020. It is expected that the supplier/firm will engage with representatives from all divisions and selected stakeholders to obtain a clear picture of Safaricom’s ethical position.

Safaricom PLC is the leading mobile services provider in Kenya and has a steadily growing subscriber base. Safaricom is continuously expanding and upgrading its systems and processes to meet the changing needs of its customers. Safaricom now intends to engage the services of competent and reputable firms to provide Enterprise digital services in solution analysis & proposal, design, Integration & implementation, Maintenance, Support, commissioning & decommissioning for purposes of seamless delivery and support of customers and solutions within enterprise.

The selected partners will offer end to end implementation and delivery of different lead to order and order to bill enterprise solutions. This will include scoping, design, development, integration and testing of the various enterprise solutions. The solutions are in the BSS space including major digital service provider services. These services include but not limited to:

• SMS
• USSD
• Payment & M-PESA services
• Mobile & Web services development
• RCS
