Joining the Spearheading sustainability of women SMEs program brought transformative changes. Business registration training empowered Beatrice to initiate formal registration, aligning Towards SDGs with legal obligations. Coaching sessions, led by John, developed a comprehensive business plan, addressing a significant structural gap. 

Beatrice expressed the impact, stating, "Through that session, I was empowered to register the business," highlighting the program's role in overcoming the registration challenge. 

The program instilled intentionality in incorporating social issues. Towards SDGs formed an advisory board, fostering diversity. The company became ESG compliant through policies based on their ESG report. 

Beatrice emphasized the changes, "Now we... are very keen when that time comes," reflecting commitment to diversity and inclusion. Operational changes focused on resource optimization, monitoring water and electricity consumption, and trading paper waste. 

Participating in the program's tour proved pivotal. The tour connected Beatrice with peers, Invest in Africa teams, and Taka Taka Ni Mali, broadening perspectives on the industry. 

Since the program, Towards SDGs embedded SDGs into operations, setting specific goals. Actively pursuing partnerships, the company emphasizes sustainability reports and wastewater management. 

Beatrice's words encapsulate the forward-looking approach, "And it has also opened our eyes to develop a five-year strategic plan for the company," showcasing commitment to long-term planning.
