Invest in Africa-Kenya Participates in Beyond Zero Marathon to raise awareness and Celebrate Women

To mark the International Women's day, Invest in Africa-Kenya joined Kenyan corporate organizations and 25,000 individuals for the 2019 edition of the Beyond Zero marathon. 5 staff members, Wangechi Muriuki, Julia Karigu, David Ajowi, Lucy Maingi and Ngesa Maturu, represented IIA-Kenya with David setting a record 1.35 hours in the 21 kilometres race.

The marathon, which also sums up as a fundraising initiative by Her Excellency, First Lady, Margaret Kenyatta aims to create sensitization on reducing maternal, child and newborn deaths in Kenya. So far, the initiative has donated 47 mobile clinics to the 47 Counties hence bringing health service delivery closer to locals.

Additionally, Invest In Africa also celebrated the women making strides in business by highlighting them on the African Partner Pool (APP) platform.
