IIA JOINS ASPEN NETWORK TO NET MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SMES

In order to enhance more support for SMEs on the Biashara.now platform, Invest In Africa-Kenya has joined the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE). ANDE is a global network of organizations that propels entrepreneurship in emerging markets.

ANDE currently comprises of more than 280 members who collectively operate in more than 150 countries. Members of ANDE provide critical financial, educational, and business support services to Small and Growing Businesses (SGBs) to create jobs, stimulate long-term economic growth, and produce environmental and social benefits and ultimately eradicate poverty.

The network aligns with the IIA's model that focuses on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) as the engines of growth in emerging markets, and their potential to address job creation and economic development. IIA aims to tap into the network’s unique initiatives to address systemic challenges and seize opportunities through collective action.
