.Background and EOI Requirements

Safaricom outsources construction consultancy services to professional firms, who offer specialized services in line with agreed terms of reference to realize company projects. Separate consulting firms are contracted to form part of a consortium of consultants. This requirement is for the identification of a suitable firm to offer Mechanical / Electrical consultancy services. The service will be required on need base and the roles under this scope of work is outlined.

1. Outline design – After client debrief.

2. Scheme Design and giving cost estimates.

3. Detail design and issuance of comprehensive drawing ready for tender and implementation

4. Tendering including tender documents, evaluation and advising client.

5. Implementation including approval of working drawing, selection of material, workmanship inspection.

6. Testing, commissioning, and hand over

The Expression of Interest proposal should be submitted in the below format:

3 Details of company registration details i.e., Profile, certificate of incorporation,

Office location, Tax Compliance Certificate etc.

4 The Bidder must have at least 2 (two) Professional Engineers/personnel in

Electrical and 2 (two) Professional Engineers/personnel in Mechanical.

With current EBK practicing license. (Attach recently signed CV and valid license)

5 Principal Mechanical engineer signed CV with valid EBK practicing licenses

6 Principal Electrical engineer signed CV with valid EBK practicing licenses
