Safaricom has continuously rolled out fibre across Kenya in different towns connecting BTS sites, homes and buildings and intends to progressively deepen its network to continue serving the growing needs of its customers. To achieve this, Safaricom relies on contracted service providers who are engaged on a fixed term contract. The scope of the product offering is:

1. Provision of Low Cost ONTs for the FTTx network. The product should be robust with all the features highlighted.

This EOI is intended to identify suppliers that can demonstrate enough capability to provide these products and support services in the best possible way and in a manner that enables Safaricom to meet its expectations. The identified suppliers will be invited for a competitive tendering process from which the suppliers to be engaged will be identified. Safaricom is therefore soliciting for Expressions of Interest from interested companies clearly showing the following:

 Response to table 1 and 2 listing features for their products

 Years of experience as a provider of these products and services

 The principal place of business

 Countries where the company provides the products and services

 List of clients where the services have been offered in the past five years with reference contact details. This should include the number of sites supported, scope and period.

 Three years audited accounts.

 Statutory Authority approval documents that are required for the provision of this service e.g. certificates, etc.

 Any additional information that supports your capabilities in this scope.
