Safaricom has 7 main office blocks, 2 Regional Offices, and 47 retail shops which are located across Nairobi, Mt. Kenya, Western/Nyanza, Coast and Rift Valley. Safaricom has contracted one vendor to provide a provide generator maintenance to ensure there is business continuity in case of power interruption.

The contract is expiring in few months. As a technology-based company with a global mindset and outlook, we believe that there is need and opportunity to streamline operations and create greater efficiency and effectiveness in generator maintenance. Safaricom is therefore seeking to identify suppliers with the capacity and experience provide the service.

Requirement

1 List of corporate clients where firm has offered similar services- (Provide Contact Details, recommendation letter/ contracts)

2 Letter from OEM. Direct Manufacturer Authorization Letter

3 Workshop location, size and proof of leasing or ownership of the space

4 Requirement for bidder to have certified internal health & safety manager (signed cv and testimonials) and external health advisor (MOU and certificate)

5 Compliance with sustainability ACT 2021-Valid NEMA certificate for waste disposal (batteries and oil) direct / partnership 6 The Bidder must have at least 5 (five) Certified Engineers/personnel. Certified by the OEM (Attach CV and Certificates)
